Launched in 2006 by Ciara Troy, Oishii (meaning ‘delicious’) Sushi is Ireland’s leading artisan producer of a premium ready to eat sushi range.
The business has weathered countless storms – challenges brought about by Brexit and Covid were quickly followed with rising raw material costs, supply chain issues and sky-high energy bills. However, Ciara and her team have demonstrated grit and resilience in protecting the business, focussing on growth, and improving efficiencies. This has resulted in an impressive 24 months of growth, with sales increasing by 130%. The business added more retail outlets to their distribution channels which generated new customers, not only nationwide in ROI but also across the border in Northern Ireland where Oishii sushi has been selling for more than 18 months.
