Andrea Pedersen is originally from Germany and moved to East Cork at the end of January 2020 just before COVID. Her new home has a big garden where Andrea grows berries and vegetables which she uses to make preserves. After producing too much during the pandemic, she gifted the surplus to friends and Andrea’s Kitchen was officially founded in spring 2023. Since its inception, Andrea has taken part in the Supervalu Food Academy and the Acorns Programme which is designed to support early-stage female entrepreneurs living in rural Ireland.
