Almost 25 years after being told her accent was unsuitable for broadcasting, Sharon Noonan realized her dream by producing and presenting the radio show and podcast “Best Possible Taste”.
Lizzy Lyons’ passion for home made healthy dishes was ignited by catering for the stars at Universal Music in London but her heart lay in Kerry. On returning home her hard work and determination paid off when she opened Lizzy’s Little Kitchen in her home town of Listowel.
Chef Louise Brosnan studied Culinary Arts at IT Tralee as a mature student. Since graduating she has enjoyed positions in many prestigious kitchens and is a chef mentor on the the Apprentice Chef Programme. Louise switched from mentor to mentee when she recently completed a stage with Ireland’s only Michelin Star female chef, Danni Barry, at Deane’s EIPIC in Belfast.
Three inspirational individuals pursuing different careers in the culinary world share the challenges they experienced on the journey that led them to where they are today.
